You may experience an “Error 403 Forbidden” message while trying to list or modify an event. This is a problem with some server settings which we’re currently trying to resolve. If you run into this error, please try listing your event at a later time.

Login and register forms recently stopped working. They’re in their normal operation now. Please let me know if you encounter any problems.

When you look at the Login page, you’ll now notice that you have the ability to reset your password should you lose it. Simply enter your email, click the confirmation link that we email to you, and then we’ll email you a new password.

The brand new Okanogan Events Calendar has arrived. The largest change is the look and feel of the site. The calendar now looks like, well, a calendar. Additionally, I’ve rewritten the entire code base (currently around 3600 lines of code) to allow for quick expansion and bug fixes.

We’ve got some new features in the works, including functionality to allow events coordinators to upload photos with their event descriptions. We’d love to you hear your ideas as well; shoot us an email at info@intheok.com.

With a little luck, I can have the new site design (see previous post) completed in time for this weekend; so be sure to swing by and take a look!

Edit: I ended up being out of town this weekend and was not able to finish. I now expect to have the new site up by the end of the day this Thursday, 02/22.

I’m currently putting the finishing touches on a complete re-write and re-design of the calendar. My hope is to give the site a closer resemblance to a physical calendar and also to have a stronger code base to work from. Here’s a screen shot of the new design; the photo will change monthly to feature photography from around the Okanogan area.
